Ecology visiting Lake Wallace, October 2014

Ah, a field trip within walking distance ... 

have gear, will explore


BHS students aren't the only ones exploring

waders, they'll get you a lot closer to the action

sure looks like he's walking on water, but not to worry ... he's on the submerged dock footing

now that's one small caddisfly larva

using the tangent gauge and artists' thumb to estimate tree height

nothing quite like a game of knots to end off the trip!
